Apptivo allows you to convert your records from the Purchase Orders App to another App. You have an added benefit to custom convert the records. Here, you can decide which attributes in the Purchase Orders App has to be converted to any other Apps.
For Instance: Let us consider custom converting records in the Purchase Orders App to Invoices App.
- Go to Settings → Purchase Orders → Conversion. Here, select Create to create a new conversion type.
- In the Create Conversion page, select the destination App. Here, Invoices App.
- You can also add a description of the conversion. If you want a record to be converted multiple times, then enable Allow Conversion Multiple Times.
- Once the settings are configured, select Create. You can see the Conversion is created.
- To perform the custom conversion, click on the Mapping feature.
- In the mapping field, you can enable the activities which you want to associate in the Invoices App.
- You can also map the attributes of the Invoices App which you want from the Purchase Order App using the Select Attribute feature.
- Once the mapping is configured, select ‘update’.
- Now create a new record in the Purchase Orders App.
- Once the required information is added, click on the convert button → To Invoices.
- You will be redirected to the Create Invoice page where the mapped attributes will have the values from the Purchase Order’s record.
Allow Conversion Multiple Times
You can convert a record multiple times by enabling the Allow Conversion Multiple Times feature.
Instance 1: Allow Conversion Multiple Times Enabled
When this feature is enabled, you can convert an already converted record any number of times.
This record is already converted to Invoices. On selecting the Convert button, you will have the ability to convert it again to Invoices.
Instance 2: Allow Conversion Multiple Times Disabled
When this feature is disabled, you cannot convert an already converted record.
This record is already converted to Invoices. On selecting the Convert button, you will not have the ability to convert it again to Invoices.
