How to use custom conversion in Opportunities App?

Opportunities App allows you to convert the opportunities to Orders, Estimates, Invoices, and Projects directly from the opportunities app. By using the Custom Conversion, you can convert the opportunities to another app and with the mapping of the attributes from opportunities to the other attributes.

Let's consider converting opportunities to the orders with the custom attribute mapping.

Steps to Follow

  • Login and access the Opportunities App from the Universal Menu.
  • Click on the More icon(...) and select Settings.

  • Click on the Opportunities from the left panel and select Conversion.

  • Select the Custom Conversion from the Object Conversion View.

  • You can view the Orders, Estimates, Invoices, and Projects with the Enabled toggle and Mapping button.

  • With the Allow Multiple Times enabled, you can allow converting the records multiple times. i.e You can also convert the orders that are already converted.

  • Click on the Mapping button in the Orders.

  • In the Orders Mapping Fields, you can able to associate the Tasks, Events, Emails, Notes, Call Logs by enabling the toggle for the selected opportunities.
Actions

  • Here, Map the Mandatory fields of the orders app with the Opportunities App by using the Select Attribute Drop down.

  • Click on the Update to save the changes.
Update

  • You can view the changes in the opportunities page.
Opportunities Page

  • Click on the Convert To Orders, you can view the Orders app attributes auto-populated with the value that is mapped in the Opportunities app.
