What is Visibility in the Inspector tab of Link Attribute?
Updated on March 12, 2020 06:15AM by Admin
You can make use of the Visibility feature in the Inspector tab to control the visibility of different attributes. This feature determines the visibility of the link attribute in all the records of the Contacts App. It is turned ON by default.
For Instance: Let us consider adding a link to the Master Layout in the Contacts App.
- Go to Settings in the Contacts App → Customize App → Master Layout.
- Here, drag and drop the Link attribute to the drop attribute field.
- Now click on the link attribute in the Master Layout to access its Inspector tab.
- The Inspector tab allows you to apply various customizations to the link attribute.
Case 1: Conditional Visibility
- You can enable visibility of the link attribute only during particular conditions.
- Go to Visibility section → Enable Visibility → Enable Conditional feature.
- You can add the criteria in the Conditions section. Here, I have chosen the driving attribute as Status and the driving value as Inactive.
- In the Contacts app, the link attribute will appear only when the contact status is Inactive.
Case 2: Visibility Hidden
- If the feature is disabled, then the attribute remains hidden in the record.
