How is the Performance of my Employees in the Opportunities App calculated?
Updated on May 25, 2020 08:11AM by Admin
The Performance Dashboard of the Opportunities App provides timely information on the Opportunities’ amount of all the employees. However, the access varies depending on whether the employee is a superuser or a non-superuser.
Performance Dashboard of Superusers
Superusers have access to view the opportunity amount of all the employees in the organization. It not only includes the subordinates but all the employees’ data are displayed.
- In the Opportunities App, select the Performance dashboard from the left panel.
- The dashboard will come into view. Set the Filter as All.
- Here, the dashboard will calculate the total opportunity amount of all the Employees in your organization.
Performance Dashboard of Non-Superusers
For Non-Superusers, the access limit depends on the Security Access Level configured in the Opportunities App.
Instance 1: When Security Access Level is configured as ‘All’
- Go to Settings → Security → Access Level. Ensure that the access level is configured as All for both View and Edit.
- Now, select the Performance dashboard from the Opportunities Home Page. Set the Filter as All.
- The dashboard will display the opportunities amount of all the Employees in the organization.
Instance 2: When Security Access Level is configured as ‘Employees’
- Go to Settings → Security → Access Level. Configure the access level as Employees only.
- Now, select the Performance dashboard from the Opportunities Home Page. Set the Filter as All.
- The dashboard will display the opportunities amount of the logged-in user and their subordinates.
Note: If an employee is added as an exception in the Security Access Level, then that user will be treated as a Superuser.
