You can also customize the PDF as per your preferences. Here, the steps to enable Serial Number in the Work Orders both in the Overview and the Print PDF pages.
Steps to include Serial Number in Work Orders
- Click on the More(...) icon and select the Settings from the Work Orders home page.
- In the settings page, click on the Customize App and select the Master Layout.
- Scroll down to view the Products/Items Sold section.
- By clicking on the Section, you will be navigated to Inspector Tab.
- You can find the Auto-Generate toggle disabled under the Numbering section.
- Enable the Auto-Generate toggle, in the Inspector Tab.
- Save the changes.
- You can view the Serial Numbers for the Items in the Overview Page of the Work Order.
Steps to include Serial Number in PDF
- From the Settings page, click on the Print/Web Layout from the Customize App dropdown.
- Open the Default PDF layout by clicking on the View Template.
- Scroll down to view the Products/Item List Sold section.
- By clicking on the section, you will be navigated to the inspector tab on the right side.
- You can find the Auto Generate toggle disabled in the Inspector Tab under the Numbering.
- Enable the Auto-Generate toggle and save the changes.
- Now, you can get the Serial Numbers in the Print PDF layout.
