How do I Print the Inner Table section in the Estimates PDF Template

Apptivo Estimates allows you to create your own PDF template which then can be sent to your customers for Approval. If on creating an estimate for a case, then you can add your task details and the work log details of the case in your PDF templates. This can be done by customizing the PDF template of the estimates. 

Steps to View the Inner Table Section in the Estimate PDF template

  • Login and access to the Estimates App from the Universal Navigation bar.
  • Click on the More(...) icon and select the Settings.

  • You will be redirected to the Settings page. Then, click on the Customize App and select the Print/Web layout from the left panel.
  • Click on Create button and select the Start with a default layout button to create a new default template.

  • Provide with a Template name and click on the Next button.

  • You will be opened with a default layout.
  • Now, scroll down till the Table section and click on the field. You will be viewing the Inspector tab with the Inner Table toggle disabled.
  • Enable the Inner Table toggle.

  • Then, drag and drop the section from the Palette to add the Task Details inside the table.
One Column

  • Once the Section is added, drag and drop the attribute from the Palette.
  • Here the Task Details attribute is added.
  • Then click on the Save button to make the changes get updated.

  • Now, go to the Create Estimate page.
  • In the Template section, select the created template from the list.

  • Provide with the Task Details and other information. 
Services Provided

  • Click on the Create button.

  • Once, the Estimate is created, you can view the Print PDF button on the Estimate Overview page. 
  • Click on the Print PDF button.

  • The Estimates will get downloaded with the customized template format with the Task Details section inside the table.
