How to create notes with customer information?

The Customers App of Apptivo allows you to create notes with the information available in the customer profile. By this, you can map the values present in the fields of the customer profile with the fields present in the Notes.

Note: This feature is available in the Ultimate and Enterprise plans of Apptivo.

Steps to map the attributes of Customers with Notes

  • Log into your Apptivo account and navigate to the Customers App. In the Customers App, select Settings.

  • In the Settings page, go to Collaboration. Here, scroll down to Notes.

  • Here, enable Map and set your own pre-defined values while creating Notes toggle. Now, select Mapping.

  • You will be redirected to Customers → Notes Mapping Fields. Here, map the required fields.
  • Here, the Description and Assigned To fields of customer profile are mapped with the description and shared with fields of the notes.

  • Save the changes.

  • Now, create a new customer or open an existing customer profile in the Customers App.
Overview

  • Switch to the Notes tab and select Create.
  • The fields in the Create Note window will have the values as per the configuration. For instance, the description field contains value-added in the customer profile’s description.
