Updated on November 18, 2020 03:07AM by Admin
The Projects App of Apptivo allows you to send emails with predefined templates. In these templates, you can also attach files associated with the projects. This includes the file attributes added to your app layout (Master Layout).
Note: The App Layout option will be displayed as an attachment only when a file attribute is available in your Master Layout.
Steps to attach app layouts
- In the Projects app of Apptivo, select Settings from the App header.
- Go to Email → Email Templates from the left navigation panel of the Settings page.
- Either create a new template or open an existing template.
- A new template is created here. On the Create Template page, add the information related to the template like the Template Name, Subject, and Content.
- Select the Attachment icon. Along with other options, the “From App Layout” option is also listed. Click on it to see the list of file attributes available in your app’s layout.
- Select a file attribute to add it as an attachment to the email template.
- Select create to create a new template.
- Go to the overview page of a project. You can see the file added in the File attribute. You can use this email template while composing emails on the overview page or from the Emails tab. Here, switch to the Emails tab.
- Click the Compose button to compose an email. Choose the configured email template.
- On scrolling down the Compose window, you can see the file added in the project’s overview page is attached to the email automatically.
