How to set criteria for Convert Action in Purchase Orders for Apptivo’s Windows application?

Apptivo’s Windows applications allow users to perform certain security actions on the Purchase orders. You can make some actions to be configured to view/ disable under the Windows applications by making the changes on Security actions in the Web. You can control the actions like Convert, Search/Advanced Search, Duplicate, Print PDF, Cancel, Send and Resend actions of purchase orders. In addition, you can set the criteria for those actions that need to be visible under particular conditions.

For instance: Here, let’s go through the steps to provide the criteria for convert action in Purchase Orders for the Windows application.

Steps to Follow

  • Login and access the Purchase Orders app from the Web.
  • Click on the More(...) icon and select Settings.

  • On the Settings page, click on the Security and select Actions.
  • The Convert action is listed in the Objects category.

  • Here, click on the Set Criteria button.
Set Criteria

  • On the Set Criteria side panel set the conditions for the convert action.
  • Here, the condition is set as that the Convert button will be visible only for the Closed purchase orders.
  • Then, click on the Create button.

  • Now, go to the Purchase Orders app from your Windows application.
  • You can view the Convert button only for the Purchase Orders which are on Closed Status.

  • The Convert button will not be visible for other status Purchase Orders.
