Apptivo’s Custom app enables you to print the records as a PDF. PDF is widely used across the globe as it assists in retaining the document layout. Custom apps in Apptivo allow you to create a PDF template for the PDFs. You can create multiple templates and use them accordingly.

Steps to Follow
- Here, the custom-created app is named Business Contacts. Login and access the Business Contacts app from the Universal Menu.
- Click on More(...) icon and select the Settings.
- On the Settings page, click on the Customize App and select Print/Web Layout.
- Click on the Create button and select the Start with the Default Layout.
- Add the Template name in the Create Template pop-up and click on the Next.
- Here, you can edit the Templates by using the Drag and Drop editor.
- You can customize the template file name, Page Layout, Page Size, and Page Margin.
- Using the Drag & Drop option, you can edit the Templates with the Attributes on the right side Palette.
- With the following tabs - Sections, Business attributes, Address Information, Common attributes, and Business Contacts attributes, you can customize the template as per your requirements.
- You can also edit the Template with JSON code in the JSON editor.
- Click on the Save button to update the changes.
- By clicking on the Preview button, you can Preview the edited template.
- You can view the created template on the list.
- You can set the created template as the default template by selecting a template from the dropdown.
- Now, go to the Business Contacts overview page and click on the Print PDF button.
- You can view the downloaded PDF on the selected default template.
