How to add and configure the Reference App Field attribute in the Purchase Orders app?

Using the Master Layout feature in the Purchase Orders app, it’s possible to add and configure the Reference App Field attribute. You have to add the Ref App attribute before adding the Reference App Field. Let’s go through the steps to configure the Reference App Field attribute.
Steps to configure
- Login and access the Purchase Orders app from the universal navigation menu bar.
- Select Settings from the App Header.
- From the Settings page, click on the Customize App → Master Layout from the left navigation panel.
- You have to add the “Ref App” attribute, before adding the “Ref App Field”.
- Drag and drop the “Ref App” attribute from the Palette panel on the right-hand side.
- Click on the added Ref App attribute, you will be redirected to the Inspector section.
- Rename the field and scroll down to view the “Reference Object Details”.
- Here, the Items app is selected.
- Drag and drop the “Ref App Field” from the Palette panel on the right-hand side.
- Click on the added Reference App Field, you will be redirected to the Inspector section where you can rename the Reference App Field.
- Scroll down the Inspector column and configure the “Reference Field Details” section.
- For instance, set “Reference Object” as “Items” and “Reference Field” as “Item Name” to add these attributes in your Purchase Orders app.
- Click on the Save button to save the changes.
- Now, you can view the “Items” and “Item Name” on the Purchase Orders creation page.
