How to bulk update customer values in the Contacts app?

Bulk actions in the Contacts app helps you to update multiple record details in a single update. When the contacts are created, in certain situations we need to update or edit a particular field to the created contacts. It takes time to update each contact individually. The “Bulk Action” feature allows you to update or edit more than one contact simultaneously. For instance, let’s update the Customer name of the selected contacts.
Let’s go through the steps to bulk update customer information in the Contacts app.

Steps to configure

  • Login and access the Contacts app from the universal navigation bar.
  • Select the contacts in which you want to update the customer information.

  • Click on the Bulk Actions dropdown and select the Update → Contact Details → Customer.

  • On the Bulk Actions: Customer window, click on the Search icon.

  • On the Search and Select pop-up window, select the customer and click on the Select button.

  • Click on the Update button.

  • Now, for the selected contact records, the Customer field got updated.
