How to enable/disable the fields from the Hierarchical view of the Customers app?

Using the Master Layout feature, you can enable/disable the fields from the Hierarchical view. You can disable the entire section or the attributes. Once you enable/disable the fields, you can view the changes on the Customer creation page. Let’s go through the steps to enable/disable the fields from the Hierarchical view of the Customers app.

Steps to configure

  • Log in and access the Customers app from the universal navigation bar.
  • Select Settings from the App Header.

  • From the Settings page, click on the Customize App → Master Layout → Customers from the left navigation panel.

  • Click on the Hierarchical View icon at the top right corner.

  • Here, you can view the list of Sections and Attributes.
  • For instance, under the Address Information section, disable the Address Line2 and District fields toggles.
  • The remaining fields, Address Line1, City, State, Zip Code, and Country fields toggles are in enable mode.

  • Click on the Save button to save the changes.

  • On the Create Customer page, you can view the enabled fields but you can’t view the disabled fields i.e, Address Line2 and District fields under the Address Information section.
