Fundraising software refers to a wide variety of tools used to make fundraising easier, more efficient, and more intuitive for both your organization and your donors. The funding round meaning refers to the rounds of funding that startups go through to raise capital. By default, apptivo has provided 7 types of funding rounds.
You can also create new funding round as per your business preferences.
Steps to create a new funding round:
- Log in and access the Fund Raising app from the universal navigation bar.
- Click on the More(...) icon and select Settings.
- On the Settings page, Go to Fund Raising → Funding Rounds from the left navigation panel.
- Click on the Create button.
- On the Create Funding Round page, give the following information:
- Name: Name of the Funding Round.
- # of Shares: Number of Shares.
- Target Amount: Target Amount of the funding round.
- Share price: Share price for the funding round.
- Open date: Open date for the funding round.
- Close date: Close date for the funding round.
- Here, the new funding round name is “Self Funding”.
- Click on the Create button.
- Now the created funding round is available on Funding Round as shown below on the home page.
- On the Create Investor Lead page, you can view the created funding round under the Funding Round dropdown.
