How to Create Reference App Attributes in Cases App?

Cases app master layout allows the user to link cases app with other apps. Firstly, the users has to create custom fields and then select the name of the app he'd like to relate. Another interesting feature is that he can set the privilege to them. Lets quickly go through the following steps.

Steps to Setup "RefApp" in Cases App

  1. Log in and access Cases App from universal navigation menu bar.
  2. Navigate to "More" and select "Settings" from app header bar.
  3. Click on "Customize App" drop down and select "Master Layout" located at left navigation panel.
  4. Drag and drop "Ref App" attribute in the sections.
  5. Click on Reference App field, on the "Inspector" section rename the reference app field.
  6. Scroll down on the inspector column and configure the "Reference Field Details" section as shown in the image below:
  7. Click on "Save" to complete.

For instance
Now, you're going to assign "Teams" to a specific cases, create a "Ref App" field and select the reference app as "Teams". Inspector app allows to change the Attribute name.
