Collaboration

Access Level for Activities

We have implemented the Access Level for the following ActivitiesCalendar (Events), Tasks, Emails, and Call Logs. Consider you are a super-user, and if you do not want all of your employees to have access to all the activities you create, then the activities’ access level can be customized and restricted accordingly. (Note: This feature of Access Level Security for the Activities is available only in the Paid Plans)

Go to Business Settings > Security > Collaboration Security. In the Collaboration Security page, you can configure how each of the collaboration objects will be displayed to your users in each app’s object tab and also in the homepage. There are two types of access levels:

  • Only show activities assigned to signed in employee and their subordinates – The signed in employee can view and edit the activities assigned to him/her and their subordinates. Apart from the assigned employees, you can also give access to specific employees, by enabling the Add Exceptions toggle. Employees added in the Exceptions, can access the activities, even though it is not assigned to them.
  • Show all activities to everyone – Anyone can view and edit the activities, irrespective of the assignment.
